The Loire Valley is one of France's most impressive regions. The area is steeped in history and its rich heritage is obvious from the numerous famous Chateaux for which it is rightly famed.  

The wine from this region is famous throughout the world and there are many caves you can visit and sample the variety before making your selection.  

On the rivers you can fish, take a boat or canoe ride and see the countryside from a very different perspective.

For the more energetic, there is canoeing nearby or there are many cycle routes to follow to cater for all levels of fitness.  

More recently added to the tourist attraction of the area are a number of fine quality golf courses.  You can enjoy a round of golf at the Golf de Touraine which is only 15 mins away by car.
