The islands are accessible by a number of bridges, where many leisure activities such as boules, cycling, walking, fishing and canoeing can take place. There is a seasonal pool 1.2 metres deep where you can keep cool on hot summer days.
Alternatively relax by the river and watch the abundance of wildlife including, kingfisher, bee-eaters, heron and the beaver like coypu.
